Northminster Presbyterian Church ministers to the Slidell and Pearl River areas of
southeast Louisiana. Our church building, pictured above, is located on Military Rd.
1/2 mile south of exit 3 off Interstate 59. We are just Northeast of Slidell and South
of the city of Pearl River. Located approximately 40 miles from downtown New
Orleans, the area is growing rapidly since the devastation of hurricane Katrina in
August 2005. Life here is still changing as the entire area rebuilds and redefines
itself.
Visitors are always welcome. We invite you to explore our website and find out
who we are and what we do as a congregation and as Presbyterians.

We are a "Thinking Church", open to diverse, new ideas and welcoming of people's
sincere questions about faith and following christ.
As such, we respect one another's viewpoints and diverse beliefs and we earnestly
seek to follow a God who is ultimately beyond all of us,
We are neither a conservative nor a liberal church, but instead seek to be "Merely
Christian", believing that our relationships are more important than different
opinions.
