Come join our Presbyterian Women group when we meet on February 12th at 5:30 PM. We’ll be studying the Beatitudes and enjoying a delicious dinner.

“Gumbo for the Soul” will be competing again this year in Northshore Gumbo Cook-Off sponsored by Slidell Little Theatre and the North Shore Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction. It’s a chance to meet some people, shake some hands, and show the city what fantastic people we have here at Northminster.

We need money for food and to help pay for registration, we need gumbo cooks, and we need people to come to the event on February 25 and help serve gumbo and meet some people. Contact Tim Ruppel or come to Awake and Alive (7:00 Wednesdays at McAlister’s Deli) to find out more.

In 1990, a Super Bowl Sunday prayer inspired a group of young people to do something more than celebrate a football game. They created the Souper Bowl of Caring, and have mobilized youth across the country to raise more than $71 million for people in need.
