Easter Week at Northminster: 2017 Edition

We at Northminster Presbyterian Church are celebrating Holy Week this year with a number of special programs.

April 2

Adult Sunday school (9:30 AM) will be featuring part 1 of a special art-focused program for Lent. We will also celebrate Holy Communion at worship (10:45 AM), as we have each Sunday in Lent. Everyone is welcome, and dress is always casual.

April 9 (Palm Sunday)

Adult Sunday school (9:30 AM) will be featuring the conclusion of our special art-focused program for Lent. (Even if you didn’t make part 1, please join us!) We will also celebrate Holy Communion at worship (10:45 AM), as we have each Sunday in Lent. Everyone is welcome, and dress is always casual.

Maundy Thursday (April 13)

We will be celebrating we’ll be celebrating Holy Communion at First Presbyterian Church in Slidell (not at Northmisnter) at 6:00 PM.

Easter (April 16)

We will be worshiping at 8:00 AM and at 9:30 AM. (Please note that these are not our usual worship times.)  Holy Communion will be served at the 9:30 service.

Following the first service, at about 8:30 AM, we’ll eat breakfast together. (You’re invited, and you don’t have to bring anything.)

We won’t be having Sunday school on Easter Sunday.

 

We invite all people to come and join us in mission and worship, regardless of your race, your politics, your sexual orientation, or anything else. We especially welcome people who don’t think they belong in church. Christ calls us all to love and serve each other.
